Day 2 of uni

Fainting...

So, today was my second day of uni LOL Met up with Karen at the ststaion and I had to bring a spare shoelace because she forgot hers xD 

Headed to Central. Went to Maccas for lunch and then headed to UTS. We were early so we sat and waited. I saw Jasper although we didn't say hi. Then class started. We headed into the lecture theatre and it was smaller then I expected. Probably fit around.. 100 people. So the 3 HOUR lecture started. The lecturer Sam introduced the topic. Then he talked about assessments. We have our first assignment which is a 1200-1500 word report on a social or ethical issue in the IT industry D: This is just a "warm up" for our last and major assignment which is a 2200-2500 word research task which we have to incorporate our social and ethical assignment in! OHMAGERD. I've never written that many words before! I don't think i've ever went past 1200 words xD 

Anyway, we were all like WTF and dying and all xD We made another friend named Lisa. Apparently she went to o-camp as well, but because she was in the other girls' cabin, we didn't get to meet each other. In the class, I knew quite a lot of people. There were the 2 guys I met from early orientation, Imogen, Helen chau my primary school friend, Marco ;P and some other familiar faces. 

After explaining about the assessments, we had to do a writing task. Those who did it at o-camp got to have a break. The task was to write about a device you can't live without. I wrote about my mobile phone. After that was done, I handed my paper in and went to take a break with Karen. After the break, we went back in and some guy from the Australian Computer Society or something talked to us about internships and how we should find one now and stuff. Then a person from the careers service talked to us about some more job stuff. It was sooooo boring. It finally ended and we went home. LOL.

So I have Programming Fundamentals tmro and I was looking at the textbook for it and it's $136, DISCOUNTED at the coop bookshop. WTF?! So desperate times, requires desperate measures and I went on BOS to the buying/selling section and made a thread there LOLOL Hope someone has it for sale. The UTS second hand bookshop doesn't D:

First day of uni!

FREAKEN SPIDER ON MY CAR.

Anyway, today was the FIRST day of uni! YAYAY! Woke up at 6:40 and thought I was late LOL Met up with Helen and Martie at the station at 7:30. Saw James V and Pei as well. I assume they were going to UNSW o-week or something.

So I arrived at UTS and decided to go find the room myself. The room was at Building 2, level 3, room number 02. I went to Building 2, level 4 and didn't know how to get down a level LMAO So I went to the desk person *tear* 
When I was walking to the room, I saw Liam! We said hi and stuff and he told me that no one's there. I was like 20 mins early LOL I waited outside and was texting my other friend Beverly. She was running late LOL Then Imogen came and we said hi and everyone went into the lecture theatre. The lecturer wasn't there yet. Saved a seat for Bev and sat next to Imogen. More people came. Some were familiar faces from orientation and camp.

Then the lecturers arrived. There were 2 of them LOL Chris and Ryan. Ryan is our main lecturer while Chris was like the head of the subject or something. Anyway, Chris introduced the topic and stuff and then he went. Then Ryan took over and we started the subject! Our first topic is Operating Systems. We have to learn how to use Linux/Unix T___T He went through the assessment tasks that we were going to have. They were mostly assignments or quizzes that are online. Nothing written, so that's cool. We have a presentation that we have to do and it is going to be PEER MARKED. I don't know about the other people, but thank goodness we did this for English! LOL

We took down notes and stuff and like people actually brought their school laptop LMAO! I took out my book and yea :( Wish I had a small laptop that ISN'T the schools xD 
I waited for Bev and it was like half an hour into the class already and she STILL wasn't here! LOL When there was 15 minutes left, she finally arrived LOLOL 

The class ended and we all headed out. Everyone stayed at uni while I went home. Annnnnndddd that was the first day.

The class was for 1hr LOL I can't wait for tmro's lesson! Get to be in a class with Karen~~

Tam's Bday + O-camp + O-day

Tam's bday:
We met up at the station at 3 and trained it to Town Hall. Headed to Hurricane's but we were a bit early so we walked around. We then went to Hurricane's and were seated. Everyone ordered their food. I ordered the Hurricane Burger since it was the cheapest thing on the menu. Others ordered ribs, salads and chicken. Tam bought a pink cruiser and Helen bought a blue one. They mixed it together and it became purple! Brenda drank a bit and her face went all red! HAHAHA Our food arrived and those who chose to eat ribs had to put on bibs. It looked so funny! After we finished eating, we sorted the money out and for some odd reason some money were missing. When we sorted most of it out, we paid and waited for our $3 something change. We kept on waiting but the person didn't come back LOL When we realised that our change wasn't coming back, we headed to karaoke. We sang for 2 hours. Me, Jenny, Cindee and Amy sang Fong Sau LOL We sang some taylor Swift songs and when Helen sang, it was all her HAHAHA Tam and I danced to What Makes You Beautiful with the moves we could remember from Just Dance. After karaoke, we went out and found out there was a CNY parade. We watched a bit, since it was late. We were jelly at how the people had a Medibank snake light stick thing, especially Jenny LOL. We tried to go to the station but it was blocked off during the parade so we had to go the extra long way. On the way to the station, Morning Glory were giving out free glow sticks, so that was cool LOL When we arrived at cabra, it was already 10:30.

Now, for o-camp:

Day 1: Karen and I met at the station at 11. Trained it to Central and walked to where the meeting place was. We were a bit lost but met some people who were also going so we followed them. We arrived at the place and had to wait to get our names marked off. We talked to the 2 girls who were near us. One named Beverly and the other... I forgot; some Indian name xD Found out that they were either BscIt (Biscuits) like me, BusiBscIt (Busy Biscuits) like Karen or Engineers LOL When our named were marked off, Karen and I were on separate buses D: I was on a bus full of guys... I think I only saw 1 other female or something... 
I didn't know where we were going so I looked at the signs we passed. I kept seeing Liverpool so I thought we were headed there xD
We arrived at Cataract Scout Park and reception died :( There was a sign showing the fire danger and it was on "severe" LOL When the buses dropped us off, we were met with this guy who wore army/commando clothing. Everyone was so scared that we were goingto do drills and stuff xD I was full like "I can't run for shit" xD We went to our cabins and it was ok I suppose... for a place in the woods. Our cabins were further away from the guys ones and we had to walk through the bush to get there.

 So after putting down our luggage, we went to the Activities Hall to have an intro and get into our groups. All the helpers introduced themselves, saying the course they do and whatnot. Then we got into our groups. I was in Foxtrot 1 and Karen was in Hotel 1 :( We had 10 people in my group. Our leader was Liz. We played a game which was when the ball was thrown to you, you say your name. We did it a few times for everyone to remember each other's names. Then once everyone knew everyone else, we did the same thing but instead of saying your name, we say 1 word that describes yourself. I said asian HAHA. The people in my group were: Matt, Charles, Jasper, John, Liam, Imogen, Amy, Bronty and Chloe. We then split into two groups and did an activity in the booklet where we asked each other questions. After that, we did our first activity where we win Camp Cash. Camp Cash is used on the last day, to auction for prizes. The activity was called Dome Building. We had to build a structure that was free standing and could fit ALL of us inside - out of newspaper and masking tape. I thought it was impossible! We only had 1 engineer in our group LMAO and that was Charles. We got together while he told us the plan and stuff. We started rolling the newspaper and joining them to other newspaper rolls. We made triangles because according to him, that was the strongest shape. It was going well and stuff but the problem was fitting everyone in. Charles was the biggest and tallest. We were full like "Damn you Charles!" HAHAHA When we finished it was pretty good, but then when we went in, it started falling apart. We tried our best to tape everything together to make it stand. We went in again and tried to maneuver to make everybody fit. When everyone fit, the judges were at someone else's dome and Liam was full calling the judge to come judge us since we couldn't stay in the position for long. It was soooo funny! Everyone was in everyone else's personal space. So awkward, for a first day activity but oh wells. I think we came third or fourth or something because I heard cheering at some other groups. Once we were judged, we congratulated each other for the good work even though we didn't win and then we tore our dome apart HAHA. I didn't get to take a picture of it :(

The next activity was Humpty Dumpty. This was where we had to make a protective thing for the egg and then drop the egg from a high place. I met up with Karen and her 2 friends that she made from her group. They were Helena and Maria. They told us what to do and that we could make any group of 4. We decided the four of us - Karen, Me, Helena and Maria. We had to protect the egg and the resources we had were 50 straws, a rubber band and 1 metre of masking tape. We planned what we were going to do and then started working on it. I was the straw giver LOL Karen was the tape person and Maria and Helena did all the taping and stuff. Our plan was that the egg goes in the middle, and it would look like an hourglass with a cube outside. We ran out of tape and the group next to us had tape they didn't need since they were done, so we stole theirs hehe. Once everyone was done, the first level was the tallest leader dropping it from his height. The leader looked like he was 2 metres tall or something. Nearly everyone's eggs survived. The second stage was dropping it from the roof of the shed, plus one of the other leader's height. So altogether, it would be around 5m. Quite a few people's egg didn't survive. Our one did!! :D The ones that survived went onto level 3. This was the same thing but instead of the elader dropping it from the roof, he threw it down instead. NO ONE survived HAHAH (obviously). If someone did, the next level was to step on the egg xD

After that, they asked for a few people to do an activity where they could win Camp Cash. Helena from our group went. The leader threw an egg in theair and if you catch it without it breaking then you win. He threw it and someone caught it but it broke. He threw another one again and it also broke LOL He threw another egg again and it broke again. The leader gave up and gave all the participants 50 Camp Cash. Then they asked for 2 volunteers to go into those... olden days where you put ur hands and head inand they throw things at you? Anyway yea those. 2 guys went up and the leaders, about 20 of them, were holding water balloons and they turned to the 2 guys and prepared to throw. We were all watching and laughing and then instead of throwing it at them, the leaders turned around and started throwing it at us! We full started running away. It was so funny but gay T__T 

After all that, it was dinner time! There was an extremey long line so we decided to play a game. My group (Foxtrot) with some of Karen's group joined together and we played a game where we throw the ball and the person has to clap before catching it. If you don't catch, you get down on one knee. We played and the group kept getting bigger and bigger, with different people joining and leaders and stuff. Then we changed games and just played throw and catch but with one hand. The ball was big but Charles could catch it with his hand only LOL Not fair xD Someone threw the ball at one of the leaders and he used his head to catch the ball. It was SOOOO FUNNY!! And everytime he tried catching the ball, he makes a funny expression! He also looks SO MUCH like Dr Wales from Once Upon a Time LOL The line got shorter for dinner so we went to eat. We sat together and made friends with 2 leaders, Phu and Andy. After dinner, it was free time. We went back to our cabins to get a jumper and stuff and then headed back down to listen to some people speak about uni. It was so boring LOL After the talk, it was the fashion parade! We got into our groups and we had to make 2 outfits. One guy and one girl and then the people who were going to wear the outfits has to walk down the cat walk and stuff. iam and John volunteered to be the catwalk people. John was the girl and Liam was the guy. We had to create their outfit using newspaper, streamers, tape and a balloon. For John, we made a bikini out of streamers and a skirt out of newspaper. We made boobs out of newspaper and put tassles on his boobs LOL We tied his hair up and put some streamers in there as well. We made him a whip so he can whip his butt when he walks down LMAOLOL. For Liam, he put a balloon on the end of a newspaper stick for some reason and put it in the back of his shirt LOL Jasper made him a sailor hat with streamers. Charles, Chloe and I made him a vest and a walking stick. We made him pants as well. He stuck a picture of a person near his crotch LOLOL Bronty made him a bow tie. John was going to walk down the catwalk by putting his whip in mouth then whipping his butt and then when he got to the judge, rip his skirt off to show his bikini undies underneath HAHAHA Liam was going to walk down and have eye sex with the judges LOL When we actually did it, the judges gave us 8 points! HAHAHAHA At least we weren't last xD
After that, we went to back to our cabins and went to sleep.

Day 2: Woke up at 6:30 and got ready for breakfast. Then we headed to our first activity. It was called Dot Bomb. It was a series of little activities that you do in a group. Then when you complete one, you get a letter and when you get all 7 letters, you unjumble the word. First group to get it, wins. 
The first activity we did was The Hoop. Everyone had to stand in a circle and put one finger under the hoop. Then we had to gently put the hoop on the ground, without taking our finger off the hoop. It was harder than I expected since the hoop kept going up and everyone was like "Why is it going up instead of down?!" After 3 tries, we finally got it on the ground LOL We got a letter and then headed to the next activity. 
The next one was Plank Walking. We split into two groups and we had to walk on the planks. One side of the leg onone plank and the other on another. We had to move in sync with each other. One person counted "1, 2, 3 left!" and we lift the left leg and move forward. It was tiring! But we finished it and got the second letter. 
Next was the Tarp. For this game, we ALL stand on a tarp/mat thing which is about 1 x 1m. Then we have to flip the mat on the other side while everyone is on it. If someone's feet steps out, we have to start again. We seriously thought this was impossible. Even the helpers thought it was impossible! Since Charles was the biggest person there, he was the most stable so everyone held onto him if we were going to fall. And this my friends, is another activity where we say "What is personal space?" We all squashed together to FIT on the mat and squashed even harder trying to flip the damn thing over using our feet. Miraculously, we did it. It wasn't perfect... ok I lied, we flipped about 3/4 of it and gave up. Full saying "We did it ok? Its impossible!" to the leaders in charged and they let us off xD
Next was another hoop game. We had 2 hoops and we were in a circle holding hands. A person starts off with each hoop on their arms and we had to work together to move both hoops around the group and back onto the starting person's arm. It was quite easy. I was the one who had to make the hoops swap places LOL We finished and moved onto the next activity.
Next was a writing game. It really wasn't a game... more like one of those session you actually had to learn from and stuff ugh. We quickly did the activity, only because we wanted the damn letter HAHAHA. 
Next was the balloon game. This was THE MOST AWKWARDEST GAME EVER. Luckily, we've been in each other's personal space so I guess we were pretty close xD So the aim of this game is to transport a water balloon from one person to the other person. We can't use our hands, only our legs. Our tactic was to hold it in the knee area and walk slowly. If it was going to drop, we call someone, usually Liam to hold us as we leaned back while another person, usually Amy or John to kick the balloon back in place. From a distance, it looked EXTREMELY awkward. Our tactic to pass the balloon to another person was for the receiver to lean back while Liam holds you, and the passer to thrust their crotch for the balloon to move to the other person. Charles had to pass the balloon to... Chloe? I think and it was SOOOOOOOOOOO WEIRD! Everyone was full laughing because it looked so awkward! The leaders, us, other groups. What's more funny was that he was struggling a bit, so people went to help kick the balloon out and OMG. I nearly died xD In the end, we made it! and got our letter.
We played a few more that I won't get into details. Once we got all the letters, we unjumbled the word. Our word was feather and we ran to the guy and thought we came first but instead we came second. Dammit! We all got 50 Camp Cash. Some people tried to cheat their way, saying that they didn't get any and the guy gave more HAHA

After that, we went to the next activity called Mars Rover. We were allows to go into a group of 4 with whoever, so I was with Beverly, Jasper and Imogen. The aim of the game is to have 20 steps written out, and the "rover" which was Beverly has to follow when we called them out. She was blindfolded. You have to pick items up and there are dangerzones on the ground and if you step on it, you get sprayed with a water gun. We did all the stuff and when we practiced, it was perfect. When we did it for real, we didn't know she was going to get spun around. That made her go a little off track and she got sprayed a lot LOL In the end, we came third which was a surprise because I thought we did crap compared to the others. We got 50 Camp Cash but I hid mine and got another one hehehe. 

Then we went to the next game. It was called On Target. We had to build a device that could fling a golf ball the furthest. There were lots of resources and they had costs. To win this game, there was some kind of formula to follow where the remaining costs plus the distance and all that equals your total points. We get 10k to start off with. We started planning. Since our group was big, we split into 2 groups of 5. Charles the engineer was in my group HAHA We planned to make a catapault. We built it, even though me and Jasper didn't give much input into it because we had no idea what was happening LOL We had only 30 minutes to build it. We made everything but didn't get time to test it out since we kind of rushed it in the end. We took it outside and looked at everyone else's. Our's looked pretty good compared to the others (no offence) HAHA. However, when we went to test it, Charles did the honour, it stuffed up and didn't even work so we forfeited :(

After this, we had some free time and then it was dinner. During dinner we had to get our teams sorted for Trivia. Our group of friends (Foxtrot + Hotel people) were in one group. We called ourselves Horny Hotels LOL Matt was the leader. After dinner, it was the trivia.
Our group went to sitand found out 4 members dropped out. We got 2 helpers to join, Phu and Andy and another 2 Hotel people joined. The questions were SO HARD and dammit there was no reception. I see what they did there xD For the first round we came like 4th or 5th. For the second round we were nearly last and the last round we were also nearly last LOL Overall, we were nearly last HAHAHA There were bonus rounds in between each round. The first one was a 4 legged race. Izzy, Jarred and Andy played that and was first! YEA! The second bonus round was eating 2 Weetbix without milk or water. Amy went for that and only ate half of her first weetbix LOLOL The last bonus round was a XXXX Gold (beer) challenge. We made Phu go up to do it. Everyone was chanting"Chug chug chug!" Phu lost LMAOLOL 
After the trivia, it was the party. I didn't go which made Karen not go :( sigh. We were at our cabins and we just went to sleep. The others came back around 1 and woke me up and they kept talking and I was so annoyed LOL Then I fell asleep.
There's this guy named Marco. I think he likes Karen hehe.

Day 3: Woke up at 7. Got changed, packed my suitcase and headed down for breakfast. During breakfast, Phu and Andy joined us to eat and we asked Phu for some Camp Cash xD He gave me 50 :( Others got 100 HAHA At the end, I only had 200 Camp Cash. Darn.
Afte breakfast, we had to clean up the area and then it was auction! There were chicken hats, some bar tabs, bookstore gift cards, a UTS hoodie, shirts from CargoWise, pens, a mystery box and the major prize: a phone. LG something... 
The phone went for 15k or something LOL The chicken hat went for 5k! Far out LOL It's only a chicken hat xD The shirts were 50$ and the pens were $100 but when I wanted the pen, it was already sold out :( Ended up not using any of my Camp Cash :( I didn't want any of the shirts because they said "If you were my homework, I would do you" LOL
After the auction, we went back to the cabins to get our suitcases. I went into the bathroom and left my camp case on the toilet roll thing hoping someone from the next camp might get it and be 200$ richer. We took our suitcases and walked to the place where the bus dropped us off on Day 1. Then it started raining really hard. The guy's cabins were next to the place so we went into there to wait out the rain. The rain stopped and we went on the bus. Our group went on the same bus :D We then headed back and arrived at the meeting place. We waited a bit but Matt wanted to head to o-day so he went first. We took a pic with Phu and then headed to o-day.

Now, o-day:

After the picture, we headed to o-day. We met up with Matt. Went to every stall with our group. Maria went to this Vietnamese stall and she asked if we could leave our luggage there and they let. Woo! So we went around and then we met up with Izzy who was with Amy. Then we were altogether. We went around some more, joined some clubs. I joined BiG (Bachelor of Information Group), CREDO, the Co-op Bookshop and E.G.G (Electronic Gamers Guild). Around 2 or 3pm, we sat down to rest. We exchanged numbers and then decided that we should head soon to avoid peak time on the train. Some of us wanted to join a few more groups so we decided to split into groups. We said our goodbyes and headed. I went with Karen, while Izzy went with Amy and Helena and Matt went with Maria and Beverly.

inpUTS early orientation

Ugh stomach ache T__T

So today was my early orientation. Met up with Leanne, Kathy, Collin and Teena at the station at 8:30. Such a weird combination imo HAHA

Arrived at Central and headed to UTS. We didn't know the way so we went with the flow of other UTS looking students LMAO At least now I know how to get there xD 

We arrived at UTS, building 6 and went to get our lanyards. It was coloured coded according to faculty. Mine was blue for IT. I looked around for other blue lanyards and couldn't find any :( Seriously thought I was the only one :( Then I saw some but they were guys and then I thought I was the only girl... so sad. There were heaps of engineering (red), science (yellow), nursing (purple) and design, architecture and building [DAB] (green). We saw Samnang and his other friend as well, both doing engineering. Anyway, for those of you who didn't know, Collin is doing engineering, Kathy and Teena - nursing and Leanne is doing DAB. 

After registration, we all headed into the lecture theatre. People gave some talks, walked us through on how to use some of the different sites, although I knew how already and I'm sure everyone else did too. One of the older student who was giving a talk about timetables, was logging into her student portal and she got her password wrong twice and we laughed at her LOLOL After some more talks, the presenter then told us to look under our chairs for a piece of paper. I had nothing under my chair but Kathy who was next to me got a "Congratulations, you won an ipad" paper!!!! CONGRATS KATHY! I was so shocked and so was she. Kathy stood up to show people and yea :L HOW LUCKY!!!! Others got some coffee coupon or something LMAO still better than nothing :(

After the lecture, we had recess and after recess, we split into our faculties. We had a little time to get to know each other and I made a friend named Cindy, from Canley LOL. Then we headed to our classroom. Cindy and I sat next to each other while we waited for some other people. In the class there were only 4 girls, including me. I really do hope there will be more people coming LOL We played some icebreaker games which was really awkward because we had to stand in a line and face the opposite person. The person opposite me was a guy named Jon. Once we ran out of things to say we just stood there LMAO Then we had to move to the left and change partners. It was a guy named RJ. It was even more awkward with him LMAO *tear*

There were some more talking and then we had to fill in a survey. The damn chairs had wheels on them and when I wanted to sit, it would slide away... wtf LOL When we handed in our survey, they gave us our $100 gift card!! :D

Then it was lunch. We ate and then we went to our faculty campus tour. I was alone on this tour because Cindy didn't come :( I was walking alone that the student tour guide came to walk with me and ask me stuff LOL Twas awkward xD We arrived at building 10 and yea LOL 

After the tour, I had to go to a HELPS workshop thing, which taught you how to write academically. In the middle of this session, it hit me that I was doing IT and I don't think I would be writing many essays, but oh wells LOL It was only me and Kathy left at the end of the day.

Once the session was over, Kathy walked me to Central station and I went home, while she went shopping. I was all alone on the train :( Train ticket was $5 btw. Damn peak time.

Happy 18th Birthday Martie! + horror movie marathon

Must be my longest title to a blog ever LOL

Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARTIE! But before I go into detail, I will talk about the horror move marathon.

So last night, I invited Tam, Cindee and Amy to watch horror movies with me. Started at 5:30, Tam was the first to arrive. We went down and waited for the rest. Amy was going to be late because she had her orientation. Cindee then arrived and we decided to watch The Apparition, while we wait for Amy. IT WAS FREAKEN BORING. I should've known, because the ratings weren't high at all but I decided to not judge a book by it's ratings. Malfoy was in it so I thought it had to be somewhat good. We watched a bit of it... and it was soooo gay. There was a ghost but we never got to see the face and the storyline just lagggggggggggged. It was funny when one of the characters, faced with the ghost, decided to take a baseball bat to hit it... like WTF LOL When we couldn't stand it, we decided to switch movies. I give it a rating of 1/5

We watched Silent Hill instead and finished it. Amy arrived when we were a quarter or so into the movie. Silent Hill was a bit better than The Apparition, although VERY confusing. It was EXTREMELY CGI-ed. The monsters looked soooooo fake that it wasn't even scary. It was all about witches and religion... wasn't very interesting. A funny part was when a demon thing was comingin the church and since everyone was deeply rooted in their religion, but when the demon came, they ran away. I commenetd saying "What happened to their faith?" LOL It's a more be-there-for-it-to-be-funny situations LOL
Anyway, the ending was gay, because it was like some kind of parallel universe or something and the daughter and mother returned home to their house, while inthe other "universe" the father is home waiting for them and they don't see each other. I rate this movie a 2/5. Can't believe they made a sequel.

The next movie we watched was A Haunting in Connecticut and may I say, we hit the motherload. This was a GREAT movie, compared to the two failed ones we watched. It had a great storyline, with actual scary stuff and yea. Cindee and Tam were huddled together with pillows covering their eyes LOLOL I made popcorn but burnt them D: We watched until it was nearly finishedand Tam and Cindee had to leave. Amy and I then continued to watch. I recommend this movie to everyone! I rate it 4/5

Now, on to today's event. MARTIE'S BDAY OUTING!

I had a driving lesson so I was late and since Amy slept over last night, she came with me so we were both late. We trained it to the city, where we went to eat at Seoulria. I bought the chicken teriyaki dish while others had KBBQ. My dish was nice~~ I tried throwing my orange peels into Janet's dish. It was so funny hehe

After we ate, we went bowling at Kingpin~ We were separated into two groups, a group of 18 year olds (4 of them) and a group of 17 year olds (5 of us). We played and I think it was either Emily or Amy who had the most points, and Janet who lost LOLOL 
During the game, Amy was owning in our group so Jenny and I decided to play pool while we wait. There was no chance of us catching up with her LOLOL Her score was doubled ours HAHAH It was $3 for a game and we had to put the coins in a slot and push it in and I put it in but when I pushed the coins in, nothing happened. Jenny and I started to freak and wonder why the balls weren't coming out LOL We went to the counter and the lady pushed it in even more and it worked LOLOL We started playing, Jenny had the honour of breaking it. She was yellow balls and I was red. We alternated between bowling and pool and while I was bowling, it was Jenny's second or third turn, she pocketed the black ball in! LMAO The game officially ended and I won :D, but since most of the balls were still on the table, we continued to play. We played until there was one red ball left. It was a persistent red ball that didn't want to be pocketed. There were so many chances that we could've pocketed it, but never got it. Finally, after 10 or 15mins of trying, I pocketed the ball and we sang happy birthday to Martie and she opened her presents. 

After the presents, we went to Karaoke. We paid for 1 hour but had too much fun so we went for another hour. My throat is so sore from singing LOL Amy remembered that we could get 4 microphones to use and so I asked for another two when we were halfway done. YAY! We now had 4 people singing at the same time!! THANKS AMY!! Amy, Janet, Jenny and I sang Raymond Lam songs LOL although we never got to finish one :( MUST come back with Sarah so we can sing together LOLOL After karaoke, we went home.

It was peak time so the trains were PACKED! Luckily, our train had extra space for standing and Jenny, Martie and I stood there while the rest were stuck in a heap in the middle LOL Jenny pointed out a guy which was holding onto a pole close to him and not allowing anyone else to hold onto it. We called him the "pole hogger" and we thought he was going to get off at one of the stops before cabra, but he didn't LOL He was sleeping on the pole xD We talked about uni, and how UTS trumps any uni for being the most funnest and a uni that intiates students to make friends, like for eg. having camps and stuff LOL Jenny was so jelly of my uni hehehehe we arrived at cabra and departed ways LOL

Australia Day + Melbourne

This is going to be quite a long post.

So first up, Australia Day.

I spent Straya Day with the A Blockers. We decided to have a "feast" at Janet's. People who wanted to shop for ingredients met up at Woolies at 2. Everyone else met up at Janet's at 3. We headed to Janet's once we finished shopping. All the ingredients totalled to about $90 :O
When we arrived, we waited for the rest to come and then started cooking. The people who weren't cooking played cards. We played Mosquito, which is similar to snap but you count 2, 3, 4, etc. up to Ace while each person puts down a card and when a person says a number that corresponds to the card put down, we all snap it and last person gets the cards. Martie was being soooo retarded! She just kept on being the last to snap and when we were confused on who snapped last, she would just take the cards! LIKE WTH MARTIE?! BAHAHAHA Then we decided to play snap and Janet INSISTED that we make 2 piles and everyone was going WTF. We then gave in and started playing. Then we got all confused about how to win, if it was the most cards or least cards. It was soooo funny! 
Entree was served. It was chicken and salad~ The caesar dressing was soooooo sour! But everything else was nice~ Then we had to clean up. The people who didn't cook cleaned. Jenny cleaned sooooo slowly LOL She was the cleaner and I rinsed and she took forever to wash a spoon and stuff HAHAHA Once everything was cleaned, we sat and rested. We started singing Aussie songs such as the National Anthem, I am Australian, Down Under, Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree and Home among the gum trees. LOL. Then the cooking people started cooking our main meal. We played cards again LOL Trying different variations of Mosquito. Like choosing the suits; spades, clubs, diamonds and hearts. Janet was being retarded and kept thinking diamonds even though it's another suit. LOL Our main meal was done, and it was a burger. It was yum! Then we had to clean again. Then we rested and talked and played more cards and watched Sherlock Holmes. Then it was dessert! We had ice cream with Tim Tam, gummi bears and blueberries. It was yum! Then we sorted out our money and I went home.

Next! Melbourne~

Day 1:
I woke up at 5 and got ready to head to Strathfield station. When we arrived we went on Platform 3, that headed to Melbourne and waited for the Countrylink train. We got on and didn't know that we had allocated seats. Sat in carriage F and when the ticket guy came to check, he told us we were in carriage D and we had to move. The trip lasted 12 hours D: Everything looks so similar that I didn't even know when we crossed the border. I assumed we crossed when the names of the towns were unfamiliar to me LOL The were heaps of cows and horses and stuff. It was boring. We arrived in Melbourne around 7, but the train wouldn't get on the platform because something was happening at the station. There were police everywhere and people who looked like the SWAT team xD Then a whole bunch of SWAT team police came onto our train and was walking all the way to the back. It took forever and finally we got onto the platform. When we got out, the loudspeaker was telling us to evacuate LOL We had to move out in a single file where we were then checked and asked by police if we saw anything and our names, address and number. I wonder what happened... I thought there could be a bomb or a terrorist on the train or something LOL When we got out of the station, we headed to our hotel to check in. Then we headed to Crown Casino. We were kind of lost inside the casino LOL We then found the food court and ate dinner. There was also a motorbike show outside that we watched. Then we headed home.

Day 2:
Woke up around 7 and we got ready to head out. We had a few hours to explore before our tour starts at 11:55. We went to the "George St" of Melbourne and looked around. Then we went to Federation square, took some pictures and waited for our tour. Out tour consisted of 3 parts. The cruise, the bus tour, and the tram dinner. The cruise lasted for 1 hour and to be honest, it wasn't that great. It was good when we were going, but coming back was boring because we've seen it all. It was like the "Darling Harbour" of Melbourne LOL After that, we went on the bus and toured around Melbourne before heading to Mt Dandenong. There wasn't many people on this tour. Like only 4 others. We made pitstops at different places and yea... After the bus tour, we were dropped off at the tram restaurant stop. We waited for our tram and went in. It was so... CLASSY. Velvet curtains and chairs and stuff. The waiter put the napkin on our lap for us LOL Offered us wine xD But we drank juice instead xD The entree was already on the table. We ate while the tram took us around Melbourne. Sometimes the tram would go backwards and I had to go backwards and I didn't like it :/ Then we were served our main meal. I chose beef while my brother chose chicken. Then it was dessert and I chose the mousse-like dessert. It was YUM! After the tram car dinner, we headed back to the hotel. We went to woolies to buy some water and THERE'S A WOWCOW INSIDE IT!! I was like wahhhhh?! Didn't get to try it though :(

Day 3:
Woke up at 6 to get ready for the tour. We were a bit late LOL Got on the bus and headed for the Great Ocean Road. The driver is so dangerous.... freaken speeding like no tmro. We went up some kind of hill and it was a wavy path and I thought we were gonna die LOL Looked at some scenery and all that... wasn't a great tour :/ regret booking it :/ After the tour was done, we asked to be dropped off at Eureka Tower. It has 88 floors and it's the tallest building in Melbourne. We went all the way to the top and looked at the view. Then we went to eat dinner. Then we went home and I booked a plane to take us home.

Day 4:
Woke up at 7. We had a few hours to kill before the taxi came to take us to the airport. We went to DFO to shop. I didn't buy that much stuff :/ To be honest, it wasn't that cheap. The prices are still kind of the same as normal stores. My brother bought lots of jeans and yea. After DFO we went to the Aquarium. My mum didn't want to go in, so she waited outside. The aquarium was cool LOL Looked at the fish and I think the best one was the jellyfish because it looked soooo cool. Then we headed back to the hotel and the taxi was waiting for us. Drove to the airport and yea. Boarded the plane and finally arrived in Sydney at 6.

Sleepover at Janet's

Finally home!

So on the Tuesday, I went to sleepover at Janet's house. I brought both my little brothers to sleepover as well and Tam also came to join. We did things, played my Wii and all that. I really can't remember what happened. We made hotpot for dinner and there was too much and we wanted to invite Simon over LOL We slept on Janet's parent's bed and it was EXTREMELY HARD. It was also extremely hot... I didn't have a great sleep that day because I kept drifting in and out of sleep and sweating and stuff. 

Then it was Wednesday. Woke up, ate bacon and eggs for brekky, hotpot again for lunch and then Helen came over because Wendy was late. I had to take my little bros home so I went and the rest went to eat at Moochi. Met up with them at Moochi after and we headed back to Janet's place. Helen then left so we called Sarah up and asked if she wanted to sleepover. She said yes and she came. We (Janet, Sarah, Tam and I) played Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader and Tam and I were in one team and Sarah and Janet were in the other. Me and Tam won beat Janet and Sarah twice and they only beat us once :D Woo! We beat the nerdsssss! Then we played Wii Music. It was SO funny because the goal of the game is to find instruments that had the same pitch and like when it was Saah's turn, she had to find the instrument that made the lowest sound and there was only 2 options and she was going to click the correct one but Janet was full screaming that it was the other one and Sarah believed her! HAHAHAHA She is sooo gullible! xD Then it was dinner. We cooked fried rice and it looked pretty nice. Sarah was being all princess like and she asked us to cut the carrot into a flower shape. DAFAQ?! You do that yourself! Sarah was also VERY confused. She kept asking what "this" was called ("This", being cooking). We said we were cooking and she was like "No.. it's called something else" BAHAHAHAH Oh Sarah. We finished making the rice and went to eat. Then Linda came to sleepover~ We all ate dinner and Janet was explaining where the shop she buys her green tea was and she pointed to her wall to show direction and Sarah stood up and was looking at it! BAHAHAH It was like she thought she could see through the walls or something! After we dinner, Sarah wanted to check if Janet made it into USYD by checking this thing that gave uni passes or something out and she went on the usyd site and put in Janet's details. Then she asked for my details and I was like "But I didn't put USYD as any of my preferences" but being Sarah, she INSISTED that I tell her my UAC number and D.O.B and all that and when she entered it, nothing came up (obviously). Me and Janet were full laughing at her and how she was being full retarded and stuff HAHAHAH Then it was 9pm. It was the moment of truth. We rushed onto 1 of 4 of Janet's laptop and logged into UAC. The laptop I was using was lagging and the one Janet was using was faster so we used that instead. Janet logged in first and SHE GOT HER COURSE! We full cheered and high-tenned each other. Then it was Sarah's turn and... SHE GOT HER COURSE AS WELL! Although it wasn't the first one. We cheered as well and was very happy. Then it was my turn and I was so scared coz I couldn't log in... turns out, I typed my UAC number wrong HAHA I got in and I GOT IT!!! I got into my first preference!! I WAS FULLY HAPPY!! I was fully jumping up and down and everything! Linda couldn't check her because she forgot her pin D: After we settled down a bit, Linda trialled and error her pin and SHE GOT IN! And guess what? SHE GOT INTO HER COURSE AS WELL!! We were all super happy!! Then we all went and twittered and facebooked about our happiness and changed our education on facebook to the uni we were studying. My facebook status was a bit broad and I didn't say what I wa shappy about and Ms Piesse commented "More info!!" So Janet decided to say that I finally beat her in a Wii game to throw Ms off and trick her HAHAH I felt bad so I told Janet to say that it was because I made it into my course HAHAHA Janet also wrote a status and Ms commented saying "(something something) you clever dogs" We laughed coz she called Janet a dog HAHAH but when I looked on my laptop, it looked like CLOGS and we laughed even more. Then Sarah's status was commented on by this person named Kim Tei Tei and we were all laughing because her name ended in Tei Tei. Then Linda's status was commenetd by a person named Julie Yes Yes and we laughed even more LOL Janet decided to change her name to Janet Sou Sou or Janet Clogs Clogs LMFAO Then Linda told us that there was this person name Izuzu Pepsi Cock-something and we were like WTF. LOLOL We spent the rest of the night on the laptop doing our uni stuff. I tried enrolling but couldn't because I couldn't get past the HECS form because I didn't know my TFN. Then we all went to sleep. I slept in Janet's bed in Janet's room with Sarah while Linda and Janet slept in Janet's parent's bed. 

Then it was Thursday. I woke up and Sarah was already up. She told me she couldn't sleep but she tried. I think I caught or cold or somethign and was blowing my nose and I woke Linda up I think LOL We were all starving because we didn't eat much for dinner coz we were laughing too much and the whole uni offer stuff. We ate our leftover fried rice and got ready to head to Helen's bday party. I called my mum up in the morning to ask for my TFN and completed my enrollment. I'm still a little confused for the subjects but overall, my timetable is pretty good. Earliest is 9am and latest is 5pm. Jenny came over at 10 to drop her sleepover stuff down and so did Vicky. Then we headed to the station. We met everyone else there ad to my surprise, there was Sarah Lay and Helen's friend who is also name Michelle. Ughhhhh Was full replying to my name when someone was calling her D: What was weird is that she did IPT LOLOL Janet and I went to buy newspaper while we were waiting for KL and some late people. Everyone who got an offer in the main round has their name in the Daily Telegraph! Then we headed to Town Hall. We arrived to Fairfield to switch trains but something happened so we had to train it to Lidcombe and then get a bus to the City, which was gay T__T We arrived at Town Hall and headed to Pancakes on the Rocks. I won't talk about much because it's all on Jenny's blog. I ran out of money, like legitly :( Spent my last $12 on laser tag LMAO oh wells. We went shopping and around 5, Karen and I decided to leave early because we were tired. I got home and had to get extra clothes from my dad's house because I wasn't planning on staying but decided too. I waited until the rest of the A Blockers came back and went to meet them at the station. We headed to Janet's and made ourselves at home. We told Lizzie and Emiyl that they could come over to Janet's now. We played and yea... See Jenny's blog for deets. Lizzie had her teeth pulled out and was in stitches and stuff and she kept on salivating and making a sucking noise. It was SO DAMN ANNOYING! We kept teasing her about it and it was SO FUNNY!!! 

Then it was Friday. I woke up at 7:30 and Emily was waking up and going back to sleep. I was walking in and out of the room being bored and stuff coz everyone was sleeping. I took a picture of Liz sleeping coz I was bored and she was sleeping funny LMAOLOL and posted it on Twitter HEHE. Then I was going to take a pic of Jenny but I didn't. I was going to take another pic of Liz but she woke up and was surprised and I laughed and Jenny and Vicky woke up. Then I spammed Janet on whatsapp and woke her up and I was walking to Janet's room while she was going out and I scared hr and she screamed and fell on her bed BAHAHAHAHAH It was so funny! Janet had to leave at 10:30 for work and she left us in her house HAHA We watched TV and cleaned her house and left. IT WAS SCORCHING HOT. I was burning like no tmro. Went home and yea.

Windows 8

Doing some dude's essay work... at least I'm getting paid.

Nothing fun happened today. I woke up and went on the computer. Had to help my mum with some stuff. So I'm gonna be going to Melbourne on the 28th for 4 days! YAY! Going by train LMAO With Countrylink.... 12hrs D: It better be fun!

I had to drive everyone to my dad's and there was a police car parked in front of the house and I was scared but luckily as I was loading things into the car, it went away. Phew!

After I came home from my dad's I played one game of LoL with David. It was soo fun! We played with bots because I had to get used to LoL again and we won~~ 
I need to buy a wireless mouse and a laptop cooler soon.

I video called with Linda. She showed me her dog LOOL and then she was replaced with her dog LMFAO 

Excited to sleepover at Janet's house with both my little brothers. They are excited as well! HAHAH

Now, I thought I had the hang of Windows 8 and I do... at least for the things I need to do, I know how. I don't like the swipe gestures though because when you swipe from the right to the left, you bring up soe menu bar thing and it's soooo annoying and I can't turn it off. Anyway, Skype is being such a bitch on Windows 8. There's no options, NO ADDING CONTACTS INTO EXISTING CHAT - how gay is that?!, and the overall layout is shit. It also keeps disconnecting my calls. So pissed off. There better be some kind of update soon or else.

Bipolar weather

Skyping and playing pool with Janet.

So last night I had the WORST sleep ever. I was awake, rolling in my sweat until 2 where I decided to go out and sleep on the couch under the aircon. Woke up at 6 and yea... got ready to go out to Darling Harbour with A Blockers. It was my cousin's birthday today and I forgot. My little brother who was suppose to come with me to Darling Harbour had to choose if he wanted to come with me or go to my cousin's bday. It was such a tough choice for him HAHAHA In the end, he chose the birthday. LOL

Today was actually COLD. Freaken bipolar weather... yesterday was freaken 40+ degrees and today it was windy at the City. We met at the station at 10. Linda, me and martie were early so we bought our tickets first. While Jenny was buying her ticket, I spotted this asian man who asks for money and warned Linda about him. We moved to the side and then Jenny made us run all the way back up the ramp HAHAHA. We were just staring at him and telling our experiences we had with him. Then Liz, Vic and Janet arrived and we called them from the ramp area and told them to come up here. The man then walked away, so we went down to the ticket machine. It was scary HAHAHA

We all got our tickets and we went to the bus area. I was walking with Linda past the pub and there were 2 guys sitting near the window. One of them pointed at Linda while talking to his friend and then he knocked on the window LOL I told her she was being sexy today xD
We then saw Nancy waiting at the bus stop as well. I called out to her a couple of times but she didn't hear me. We all decided to surround her. We swiftly moved closer to her without her knowing and then Linda jumped out in front of her and she was surprised and when she looked around she was surrounded! HAHA She was also heading to the City.

We boarded the bus to Fairfield and took the train to the City. When we arrived we headed straight to the giant duck LOL Jenny was full taking luvos and heaps of photos of it and full getting excited and crap LOL 
After all the photo taking, we went to Pancakes on the Rocks to eat. I ordered an Aussie Sunrise but didn't finish it coz I was too full. I swear, it's so damn fulfilling. Lizzie kept eating my butter cream LMFAO Lizzie was being all gay and stuff and falling in love with Jenny xD

After we finished eating, we went back to the duck AGAIN. This time they took pics by posing (pretending to hold the duck, kiss the duck etc.) It was so embarrasing so I walked away and full pretended I didn't know them LOL Jenny was kissing a poster of the duck! HAHAHA

Then we went to karaoke. We went to K1 and sang for 2hrs. We sang heaps of songs and me and Jenny sang FONG SAU! (Insufficient Love by Raymond Lam. Jelly Sarah? :P) It was so fun! I was full reading the lyrics off my ipod HAHAHA

After karaoke, we went home and yea. It was such a tiring day! My legs hurt so muchhhhhh!!! I had heaps of fun today! :D

Currently skyping with Janet. She's talking to my little bro LOL 

Today I woke up (thank God). It didn't look or feel very hot and I thought the weather people predicted it wrong and all that. But boy, was I mistaken. The heatwave hit around 1 or 2pm. Luckily, my bamboo didn't catch on fire :D

I felt an urge to have Gangnam Style on Just Dance 4 so I searched and searched and TA-DA I found it. The instructions were a little confusing and it told me to install some other wad and when I did I NEARLY killed my wii. Luckily I didn't, and just installed the JD4 DLC wad. I updated my wii shop channel as well. I went into JD4 and into the store and I downloaded Gangnam Style and One Thing. THEY BOTH WORK! YUTAH! I would've downloaded more songs but for some odd reason it wouldn't save into my SD card and my wii's internal memory was running out. I need to buy a new SD card :( I saw soewhere that older wii's can only support SD cards that are 1-2GB, but mine is 16GB. So yea.

After that, I was really bored and no one was talking to me. I played OMGPOP for a while then I stopped. I watched some Ellen clips on Youtube and then all of a sudden Janet starts video calling me. I answered the call and we video called for a while. Her webcam was REALLY pixelated. She talked to my little bros and kept waving at them and stuff LOL I was playing around with the video and was moving my preview box and putting it on her face LMFAO 
So I was in the middle of watching Ellen's Know or Go game so I decided to link it to Janet. That video was SO FREAKEN FUNNY! I also linked her the videos of Ellen's magic tricks and stuff and one trick involved the neck and her reaction to it was so funny!

After watching the videos and laughing so hard, we stopped skyping. I had a headache and didn't feel good so I went to nap.


After the nap I played more OMGPOP and I made a friend. She's in Year 12 and goes to a selective school, wants to do civil engineering, does all 3 sciences, 3u maths and english advanced, she wants to go to Sydney uni and she's Sri Lanken. All that info from a few game of pool LOL She thought I was this girl from her grade named Emma LMAO 

Then I played with this other guy and he was all creepy and shit. He asked where I was from and I said Aust. and he was too. He was from Perth. He asked for my age and I lied and said 20. He said he was 24, doing engineering work over at Malaysia. He asked for my name and I lied and said Emma LOL Then he asked if I could give him my number... WTF. and of course I said no LOL What a weirdo.

And yea... that was about it. Just continued playing OMGPOP, watching vids and being bored. Ordered Eagle Boys pizza for dinner. Yum!

Full just sitting under the aircon the whole day... Anyway, I'm excited for tmro and so is my little bro LOL Hope it isn't too hot. Jenny the weather girl said it's 28.. and it might DRIZZLE. So yea LOL
